Independent Research And Development Of Technology
To Transform Productivity

R&D Team

Our material R&D team possesses over 25 years of experience in rubber compound formulation development. Through years of accumulated expertise, we have developed more than 2,000 material formulations. The material R&D team maintains in-depth collaborations with universities and academic institutions, including Xiamen University, Fuzhou University, Northwest Research Institute, and others, continuously innovating and achieving breakthroughs in the field of polymer materials. We are among the world’s first rubber manufacturers to develop chloramine-resistant formulations, serving as a leader in the water industry by providing high-performance rubber sealing solutions.

National CNAS-Accredited Laboratory

Xiamen Maifeng Seal Products Co., Ltd.’s testing center obtained accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) in 2022. It possesses a comprehensive management system and technical capabilities, ensuring product quality and corporate efficiency. Our CNAS test reports are internationally recognized, facilitating the company’s global supply chain.

Testing & Inspection

Toxic Substance Testing

GC-MS analysis is used to determine the content of hazardous substances such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and phthalates (PAEs) in materials, ensuring the safety of rubber formulations.

Infrared Spectrum test

Analyzing the composition and structure of rubber to determine the primary polymer type of rubber materials.

Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)

Analyzing the content of different components in rubber materials by detecting the volatility of various constituents.

Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (EDXRF)

Applied in reverse engineering of samples to analyze the elemental composition

Liquid Resistance Testing

Evaluates the resistance and stability of rubber materials when exposed to various liquids, observing for dissolution, swelling, discoloration, cracking, hardness changes, etc. Applicable to water, oil, chloramine, and chemical resistance tests.

Low-Temperature Resistance Test

Assesses the elasticity and toughness of rubber under low-temperature conditions.

Abrasion Resistance Test

Simulates real wear conditions by abrading rubber test pieces to evaluate wear resistance.

Withstanding Voltage Test

Applied to seals for electrical equipment, this test evaluates the insulation properties of rubber materials.

Compression Set Test

A critical test for rubber seals that evaluates the material’s recovery ability after prolonged compression.

Tensile Strength Test

Measures the tensile strength and elongation at break of rubber materials.

Rebound Test

Tests the elasticity and recovery capability of rubber materials after applied force.

Specific Gravity Test

Analyzes the specific gravity and relative density of rubber materials to assess rubber content and detect compositional changes.

Heat Air Resistance Test

Evaluates the stability of materials in a high-temperature, oxygen-containing environment.

Ozone Resistance Aging Test

Evaluates the resistance and durability of materials upon exposure to ozone.

Low-Temperature Test

Test pieces are conditioned in a low-temperature environment, and changes in properties such as hardness, compression set, and tensile strength are measured to evaluate low-temperature stability.

Mooney Viscometer

Evaluates the viscosity characteristics of rubber during processing and vulcanization by measuring the stress-deformation relationship of the sample.

Materials Certification

With over 50 compounds certified across China, the US, the UK, Germany, France, Singapore, Australia, and other key markets, we ensure your products gain safe and compliant access worldwide.
